Impacts of the World Crisis in Brazil and in Latin America

With the downfall of the Consensus of Washington the estimates are that the structural crisis of capitalism, like world-wide system, will still be dragged for some years and that a new consensus will be able to be built in this transition period. The workers of the public and private sectors must have conscience of what this period means and join forces to intervene with the definitions that will follow. Today, history invites us to advance with unit and solidarity, opening way for social justice.

Reflexes of the Process of Unit of International Sindical Movement in Latin America and Brazil

The sindical unit, subject of utmost importance and until recently it was absent of debate from the diligent classroom, at least in its ampler direction, must be something discussed immediately by the confederations, federations and unions. The process initiated with the fusing of the World-wide Confederation of Work - CMT and International Confederation of Free Sindical Organizations - CIOSL, in the International Sindical Confederation - CSI deal with a movement of historical dimension not yet evaluated. The first consequence was the creation of the Central office of Servers of the Americas - CSA, resulted on the fusing of the Latin American Central office of Workers - CLAT with the International Organization of Workers - ORIT, beginning to construct the unit of the sindical movement of Americas.

The Public Reality of the Services and public Servers in the Plans World-wide, Continental and Regional

The public sector was victim of the neoliberal politics adopted in the last few decades, with emphasis in the privatization and outsourcing, also of essential public services, cut off rights of the workers and the reduction of paper of the State. The situation was aggravated with the world financial crisis. The unionism in the world goes through a moment of renewal of new demands, as the globalization of the services and the fight for worthy conditions of work. It is necessary that let us search the more efficient form to face the new challenges presented for the world-wide economy and to guarantee a stronger representation in the defense of the rights of the servers.
